When I was younger I had a very strong belief in the supernatural. Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons, ghosts, killer bees. These were the things that fuled my imagination and kept me up at night buried beneath my blankets. Now that I’m older, I vacillate between pure skepticism and wholehearted belief in the the unknown and unknowable. (Except for vampires because, come on!) So I think that explains why this is one of my favorite stories from The Moth. Who wouldn’t want a tragic but ultimately good ghost to take an interest in you? Personally, I think I’d go for Bette Davis.
In this story, actor Craig Chester tells about his haunting by Montgomery Clift.
