We just got the following call from event producer Carey Christie this week – an opportunity to drink beer and/or volunteer this week. Check it out:
It’s been a while since I got in touch with an event listing, but I think this is one my Burner Soul Mates will love. It’s an end of winter sampling event of over 52 microbrews (including a kombucha and an apple cider) that’s in a south-side event space with LIVE MUSIC all the livelong night. We’ve got an amazing array of beers, fantastic local food trucks, and really fun local bands. It’s a celebration of Seattle’s dark side.
It’s called Penumbra – the shadow that defines the silver lining – http://www.penumbrabeerbash.
We need volunteers. A lot. For anyone who wants to do the event but can’t spend the dough, here’s how: http://www.theworldisfun.
We set the event behind the Mt. Baker Light Rail station and ended it at midnight so people can catch the train to/from the party.
