“The Starlight Project” Erich Remash, local Seattle artist in collaboration with the Seattle portion of ‘Do-More-Now Camp’, created the piece in 2012.
According to the artists, ‘Starlight’ was a modest sculptural lighting installation. Its seven, twelve foot diameter icosahedron plywood stars were placed to map out the constellation Orion creating a “heaven on earth” effect. Stars were installed throughout 2012 at Burning Man, Critical Massive, Summer Meltdown, Deep Playa Equinox and Seacompression. Ignition Northwest is thrilled to have helped support this project with an Arts Grant.
